God’s Provision Revealed in Creation
Hello, Bride of Christ,
The exploration of God’s heart toward humanity in Genesis 1 reveals His deep desire to sustain and care for us. In His very first recorded conversation with humanity, God reassures mankind of His provision (Genesis 1:29–30, NKJV). From the beginning, He provided everything humanity needed—food, purpose, authority, and identity (Genesis 1:27–31). Even now, He remains our source for all things (John 15; Philippians 4:19; 2 Corinthians 9:8, NKJV).
Yet, like humanity’s first parents, Adam and Eve, we often respond with dissatisfaction. Instead of trusting God’s provision, we rely on our own understanding and desires to determine what is good and enough for ourselves (Genesis 3:6, NKJV). But what if we chose differently? What if we looked at creation as continual evidence of God’s faithful provision and willingly became dependent on Him?
Satisfied with His love,
A woman abides—
No need to hide.
A woman satisfied with His love
Relies—
No need to strategize.
A woman satisfied with His love
Trusts—
Because He is enough.
Choosing to depend on the Lord requires intentionality. It means:
Seeking His approval before moving forward with our ideas,
Waiting on Him and trusting His timing,
Understanding His thoughts, plans, and heart through Scripture,
Desiring for His glory to shine and for His name to be honored.
When we surrender to dependence on God, self-preservation loses its grip, and self-centeredness no longer has a place.
Bride of Christ, a woman who is satisfied in the Lord’s provision lives differently. This month, let us spend time reading Genesis 1–3, meditating on God’s provision through creation, repenting for the moments we choose, like Adam and Eve, not to trust Him, and submitting ourselves to the love of God that alone can truly satisfy us.
