Are You Letting God In?
“So then, because you are lukewarm…” The Laodiceans’ hearts deflate, their smiles fade, and their heads bow causing their eyes to fixate on the ground below. The Revelation 3:16 text does not provide us with this detail, but we all know the emotions and physical impact of hearing someone we love tell us something about ourselves contrary to our perception of self. The words fall heavy.

How to Build a Practice of Repentance
Hello Bride of Christ,
What response do we give when confronted? Do we respond or rather do we react? Are words of defense and justification found on the tips of our tongues? Or do words of excuse escape our mouths and roll off our lips like water rushing from a bubbling brook? Do we believe we are fallible and in need of a Savior? Can I Trust God Knows and Cares?
How great is our God? Who can fathom His greatness? The truth is our minds are too limited and finite to measure or comprehend His greatness. We define “great” based on words and vocabulary known to our tongues. Yet He exceeds them all. Our words come up short in definition and description when it comes to God. So we are left to create boundaries of greatness in the hope of gaining some understanding…truth is His greatness is unsearchable (Psalm 145:3). Yet the Holy Spirit grips the psalmist to write and attempt to describe God to show us He knows and cares about us deeply.
